Brembo calipers - Easily $8k PER caliper

Carbon Front Wheel - $2k

Brembo T-Drive rotors - if the thick race version, easily $1600 PER rotor

Potentially that thing has titanium fasteners everywhere too so think of those as $40 ea-ish

Why not just pick up some Ohlins R&T forks for $2,800?

because the SV has a perfectly good set of 2007 GSX-R 1000 forks on it right now, and stock, those showa were pretty freaking awesome.

next bike will have olhins on it from the factory though

Drool.

I would love some new forks. That’s about the only thing I don’t like about my Katana, the clunky front end.

look to see if you cant drop in a set of GSX-R forks. i know you could on the SV, so it MIGHT work out for you

I’m not sure if that’s possible, I’ve tried looking for info on it.

I know there’s a number of people who’ve done emulator conversions and spring swaps and said that made a big difference.

I think first though, I’m going to have the oil changed in them over the winter, see if that helps. I’m sure it’s overdue.
